Eliate Mobile Software Application

Overview

Eliate Mobile is a desktop inventory and sales management system built for a mobile phone and electronics shop, covering product catalog, stock tracking, invoicing, supplier records, and reporting. Built as a personal project, it replaced a fully paper-based system and is now used daily to run real shop operations.

The Challenge

Before Eliate Mobile, every sale, stock count, and supplier order was tracked on paper. There was no quick way to check what was actually in stock, no searchable sales history, and reconciling the day's numbers meant manually adding up receipts by hand. Creating an invoice, browsing products by category or brand, and spotting low stock all depended on physically digging through paper records or shelves.

Our Approach

Since the shop needed to keep operating while the system came together, the priority was a fast, reliable invoice-creation flow and a live product catalog that could hold real stock data from day one — not a dashboard-first build that looked good but didn't help at the counter. The dashboard and reporting layer came after the core workflow was solid. The whole system was built in Java with a MySQL database, kept self-contained so it's easy to back up and restore.

The Solution

Eliate Mobile shipped as a full desktop application: a dashboard summarizing daily sales, invoice counts, and top-selling products; a product management module for organizing inventory by category, brand, color, and supplier; a fast invoice builder for point-of-sale-style checkout; and a built-in database backup/restore tool so records are never at risk of being lost. It fully replaced the shop's paper system and is used every day.
