Overview

FlexZone is a custom-built e-commerce storefront for a clothing retailer that had no online presence before this — every sale happened in person, in-store. We built the complete customer-facing storefront alongside an admin panel that gives the shop owner full control over products and orders, without needing a developer involved for day-to-day changes.

The Challenge

Before FlexZone, the shop had no way to sell online at all — no website, no product catalog, and no way for customers outside the local area to browse or buy. There was no existing platform or process to build on top of; everything had to be designed from zero. The owner also needed to be able to run the store herself day to day — adding products, managing orders — without relying on a developer for routine updates.

Our Approach

Since this was the client's first digital storefront, we prioritized getting one thing right first: a complete, working purchase flow — browse, cart, checkout — validated end-to-end before building out the admin side. The stack (Java, MySQL, HTML/JavaScript) was kept deliberately straightforward, so the system stays easy to host and maintain without requiring an ongoing engineering budget.

The Solution

FlexZone shipped as a full storefront where customers browse the catalog, add items to a cart, and check out — paired with an admin panel covering every operational path: products, categories, and orders. The shop owner can run the store independently day to day, and the build is complete and ready for launch.
